Reading Festival originally started life as a Jazz and Blues festival in the 1960s, Reading is only rivalled by Glastonbury in respect to historical and cultural importance. However the event today is released from the Jazz and Blues shackles and has taken a predominantly Rock stance in regards to booking bands.
