Gilles Company was born in Dijon and came to The French Horn after cooking in a number of renowned Michelin starred restaurants in France and London. He embodies the French passion for excellent ingredients and seasonal cooking; unlike many contemporary chefs, Gilles cooks with the diner very firmly in mind – flavour and texture drive his work in the kitchen. Gilles was honoured with a ‘Pride of Britain’ award for his food in 2006.
